SPEAKathon London Cabaret

What with SPEAK week coming up at the beginning of November, London SPEAK are pulling together to hold a Cabaret of comedy and tunes, whilst raising essential funds for the SPEAK Network's great work in the process...

Fundraising is, first and foremost, a ministry...It's a way of announcing our vision and inviting other people into our mission

-Henri Nouwen

Without fundraising, SPEAK wouldn't exist! We need a constant flow of funds to pay for basic things like our events (that don't normally make profit), storage and office costs, salaries and expenses, group support, campaigns resources, and so on. That's why, during SPEAK Week, groups around the country will be doing SPEAK-a-thon actions and events to ensure that the Network has a future. And London SPEAK is no different - hosting a Cabaret in the café underneath the SPEAK office in Bethnal Green on the Wednesday evening of SPEAK week.
